May 11

8:07 a.m. -- Officers were contacted in regard to criminal mischief in the 500 block of North 9th Street. Estimated damage is $500.00.

10:08 a.m. -- Officers completed a VIN Inspection in the 500 block of South Main Street.

11:42 a.m. -- Officers assisted a citizen in the 500 block of South Main.

12:02 p.m. -- Code enforcement officer responded to 410 Kimberly Ln concerning a tan pit dog entangled around a pole. The dog was released from its restraint and a door tag left at the residence.

12:04 p.m. -- Officers completed a VIN Inspection in the 800 block of South 7th Street.

12:08 p.m. -- Officers assisted Lamar Port of Entry with translating for an individual in the 7000 block of Highway 50.

12:28 p.m. -- Officers were contacted in regards to a restraining order violation in the 1400 block of East Olive Street. The matter is currently under investigation.

1:27 p.m. -- Officers were dispatched to the 200 block of South 9th Street in regards to a theft. Estimated loss is $1,050.00.

2:02 p.m. -- Officers contacted Manuel De Jesus Gaucin-Ramirez, 72 of Lamar, in the 600 block of South Main Street in regards to a one vehicle accident. Gaucin-Ramirez was cited for careless driving.

3:59 p.m. -- Officers contacted Tabitha Heath, 29 of Lamar, in the 100 block of E Parmenter on a traffic stop. Heath was issued a summons for various traffic violations. The matter is currently under investigation.

4:55 p.m. -- Officers recovered found property in the 100 block of East Parmenter. The item was placed into safe keeping.

6:40 p.m. -- Officers responded to the 100 block East Oak Street for a report of an unlawful sexual contact. This incident remains under investigation.

6:44 p.m. -- Officers took a report of harassment in the 500 block of S. Main St. The matter is currently under investigation.

May 12

5:56 a.m. -- Charles Gajefski, 59, and Adrian Felan, 34, of Lamar, were contacted in the 700 blk of S Mullen in regards to a disturbance. Both were arrested for Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance & related charges.

11:04 a.m. -- Officers were dispatched to the 300 block of North 9th Street on a report of a disturbance. The subject was contacted and was voluntarily transported to Prowers Medical Center.

11:30 a.m. -- Code enforcement officer responded to 306 E Parmenter St. concerning posting signs in prohibited areas. The signs were removed.

11:38 a.m. -- Officers were dispatched to the 300 block of West Laurel Street on a report of a cold assault. The incident is under investigation.

11:38 a.m. -- Officer responed to the 400 block of south Main on a citzien assist.

1:33 p.m. -- Josette Freyta 36, of Lamar was arrested on an active Prowers County Warrant. Freyta was transported to Prowers County Jail and being held on $2,000.00 bonds.

2:48 p.m. -- Code enforcement officer responded to 300 S 10th St. concerning a water restriction violation. A notification was left and the water shut off.

2:57 p.m. -- Code enforcement officer responded to 208 W Poplar St. concerning a water restriction violation. The owner was contacted and the water shut off.

3:26 p.m. -- Code enforcement officer responded to 513 N 9th St. concerning a water restriction violation. A notice was left at the residence and the water shut off.

3:28 p.m. -- Officers were dispatched to the 700 block of West Washington Street on a report of a theft. The matter was determined to be a civil matter and the incident was documented.

3:59 p.m. -- Pedro Vasquez, 31, Lamar, was contacted in the 200 block of N 6th St and found to have an active misdemeanor warrant out of Prowers County . Vasquez was arrested and he is being held on a $10,000.00 bond.

7:41 p.m. -- Officers responded to the 300 block North Main Street for a report of a stolen cell phone. Officers contacted parties involved. This incident remains under investigation.

May 13

1:13 a.m. -- Officers responded to the 100 block South 10th Street for a fight in progress. Officers separated the parties involved. This incident is documented and Officers will be filing charges.

1:31 a.m. -- Officers responded outside the city limits to assist Prowers Deputies with a reported possible burglary in progress. Officer provided cover for the deputy and returned to city limits without further action taken.

3:02 a.m. -- Officers responded to the 300 block East Olive Street for a report of a theft. This incident remains under investigation.

6:45 a.m. -- Officers executed a search warrant in the 100 block of West Lee Avenue. The matter is currently under investigation.

11:02 a.m. -- Officers responded to the 200 block E Park on a report of a cold criminal trespassing. Officers documented the incident without issue.

1:02 p.m. -- Officers took a report of a runaway juvenile. The juvenile was located and returned home without incident.
