Notice of Medical Cannabis Advisory Board Public Meeting The New Mexico Department of Health will be holding two Medical Cannabis Advisory Board meetings: one on Monday, November 16, 2020, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and one on Wednesday, December 9, 2020, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (Please note: these meetings will not cover the same topics or material). The meetings will be held through a web-based platform due to the concerns surrounding the COVID-19 Coronavirus. Attendees will be able to join the events through the internet or by phone. Instructions on how to access these meetings and the agenda will be posted to the following website: www.nmhealth.org/go/mcp at least 24-hours prior to the scheduled meetings. The public meeting is conducted to accept and review petitions received by the 30-day public notice deadline; review and recommend to the Department for approval additional debilitating medical conditions that would benefit from the medical use of cannabis; accept and review petitions to add medical conditions, medical treatments or diseases to the list of debilitating medical conditions that qualify for the medical use of cannabis; review conditions previously reviewed by the Board and approved by the Secretary for the purpose of determining whether to recommend the revision of eligibility criteria for persons applying under those conditions; or to review new medical and scientific evidence pertaining to currently approved conditions.
