We discovered a few restaurant changes recently, and not all of them are good.

Frequent contributor Carl contacted us via Facebook to let us know that the Montclair Acapulco restaurant had closed, and also discovered that a sister Real Mex restaurant, the El Torito in Upland, had also closed.

A quick visit to the respective websites revealed that the both the Rancho Cucamonga El Torito and Moreno Valley Acapulco locations have also closed. El Torito locations in San Bernardino, Riverside, Ontario and Corona remain open, as well as the Chevys Fresh Mex in Ontario.

Parent company Real Mex filed for bankruptcy again earlier this year.

Carl also noted that the frozen yogurt shop Cherry on Top had closed its Upland location.

Fellow columnist David Allen discovered that the Ontario Quiznos at 111 N. Vineyard St., Unit B, had closed.

In more positive news, rotisserie chicken restaurant Cluck-N-Pollo has opened at 7190 Day Creek Blvd. in Rancho Cucamonga. Hours are 10 a.m.-9 p.m. daily.

Also in Rancho Cucamonga, Noods Bar -- a ramen restaurant, get it? -- has opened at 12802 Foothill Blvd., Suite 102. Hours are 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

In Yucaipa, another location of LemonShark Poke has opened. The new location, 33562 Yucaipa Blvd., Yucaipa, is open 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Sunday and 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Monday through Saturday. It joins other Inland Empire locations in San Bernardino, Redlands, Temecula and Palm Desert.

The Forum Blues Cafe has opened in the Rialto Metrolink station, 261 S. Palm Ave. Hours are 3 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 3 a.m.-9:30 p.m. Friday, and 6 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Saturday.

Raising Cane's recently opened at 29911 Antelope Road, Suite 100, Menifee, the chicken fingers chain's fourth Inland Empire location. Hours are 9 a.m.-1 a.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 9 a.m.-3:30 a.m. Friday and Saturday.

Thanks for your service
