Some of the items recovered from the arrest of a San Francisco man accused of attempting to arrange a drug deal with an undercover officer. Marin County Sheriff's Office
A San Francisco man was arrested in Marin County for allegedly offering to sell methamphetamine and fentanyl to an undercover officer, officials from the sheriff's office said Wednesday.
On Jan. 24, a detective working undercover contacted Nathan Picco, who authorities suspected was transporting narcotics into Marin County, according to the Marin County Sheriff's Office. Picco allegedly offered to sell the detective a half pound of methamphetamine and an ounce of fentanyl and allegedly said he would deliver the drugs in two batches.
During an undercover buy operation in Marin City, detectives detained Picco and found him in possession of close to 250 grams of suspected methamphetamine, a "personal amount" of suspected heroin and a collapsible baton, the sheriff's office said. Picco was also found to be on probation for a burglary conviction from 2022.
