San Francisco police arrested two suspects for alleged narcotics trafficking and seized more than 850 grams of narcotics Tuesday. San Francisco Police Department
San Francisco police arrested two people suspected of trafficking drugs in the Tenderloin and seized over 850 grams of narcotics, officials said.
At about 10:45 p.m. Tuesday, police arrested Dennison Aguilera-Moncada, 31, of Oakland, after locating him on Golden Gate Avenue near Laguna and Gough streets, according to the police department. Officers said they searched Aguilera-Moncada and found drugs and materials associated with trafficking, and that they found similar evidence in a search of his vehicle.
Officers later served a search warrant at a home on the 2300 block of International Boulevard in Oakland and arrested 46-year-old Marlo Cruz-Lopez there. Upon searching the residence, police found more than 850 grams of fentanyl, methamphetamine, and cocaine, as well as ammunition and more than $5,000, police said.

Both suspects were booked into the San Francisco County Jail on charges including possession of controlled substances for sale and committing a felony while on bail or release. Aguilera-Moncada was also booked on charges of operating or maintaining a drug house.
The arrests followed a two-month long investigation involving San Francisco Police Department's Narcotics Unit and the Tenderloin Violence Reduction Team, police said.
Although arrests have been made, the case is still under active investigation and anyone with relevant information is asked to contact SFPD at 1-415-575-4444 or text a tip to TIP411.
